This is an ongoing series of small paintings called "Lost and Found" the title refers to the creation of the paintings.
My process usually involves planning a painting out to the finest detail and having a specific end point.
These paintings are created in the opposite way to that, completely spontaneously. No plans, no sketches, just sitting down and letting them happen of their own accord. So with these paintings, you can feel like it's going one direction then you lose that but then find it's gone in another direction and found itself again.
I'm really happy with how these have turned out and really enjoyed painting them.
